Valtti is a joint project of seven universities. The focus of the project is on supporting students in their studies so as to prevent them from delaying or interrupting their studies. This is achieved by developing cousellors' and teachers' (career) couselling skills as well as by supporting students in their studies with the help of different types of group activities, such as career courses, graduate thesis groups or career groups.

 

The project is administered by the University of Oulu, Career Services. Other parties involved are:

  • Diaconia University of Applied Sciences, the Oulu Unit
  • University of Lapland
  • Oulu University of Applied Sciences
  • Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences
  • Vaasa University of Applied Sciences
  • University of Vaasa.

 

Valtti belongs to a group of development projects, which is coordinated by Tutkinto valmiiksi ja töihin (Tuvako) .

Valtti is a part of the national ESF-development program ”Työllistymisen ja työmarkkinoilla pysymisen edistäminen ja syrjäytymisen ehkäiseminen”, which is a national development program during years 2008-2011. It is partly financed by European Social Fund and the North Osthrobothnia Centre for Economic Development, Transport and Environment.
